Meet OUR Team

We are a diverse team with a single goal to assist terminally ill and people with life altering illnesses with assistance in providing accommodations for their entire families and loved ones a place to gather and create memories while they are physically able and make memories for them that will last beyond the moment.

about

At Bonding Hearts Foundation, we strive to provide venues for families of people of any age with life-altering illnesses to enjoy each other’s company in a desirable location.

No matter what a family’s circumstances are, stepping away from daily life at a resort or desired location does wonders for bringing them closer to one another. Being diagnosed with a life-altering illness can be extremely stressful and sometimes even demotivating for the people receiving the diagnosis. Not only is this highly stressful for the people diagnosed, but it can also deeply affect his or her loved ones. Navigating a serious illness can prove a major challenge for the ill people and their family, we wish to put two and two together: by giving families with seriously ill people the opportunity to enjoy a time for reflection and bonding at a location of their choosing, we can both give the diagnosed people hope and bring them closer to their loved ones so that their illnesses don’t feel so overwhelming to navigate.

Unique to Bonding Hearts Foundation as a wish-granting organization is that it seeks to focus on the whole family unit and not just the individual with the life-altering illness. We provide the whole family with a longer-term and more memorable experience as opposed to something short-term and material. In addition to providing the ill person and his or her family with a more memorable experience, we also grant these families access to something that even most families not afflicted by illness struggle to obtain because of cost and time-related constraints.

Ultimately, we believe that our efforts will lead to a heightened sense of satisfaction with life and happiness in people with life-altering illnesses. They can be shown that they can still enjoy their lives and the company of loved ones and friends despite their illnesses. Traveling to desired locations with families will provide both the people with life-altering illnesses and their families with long-lasting and permanent memories of their experiences, which psychological studies argue are better for long-term happiness than simply material things.
